Silage

We chopped a lot corn this summer and we are already feeding it. Our county was hit hard by the drought. We always chop silage, but that was about all our corn was good for this year.

Fall Calves

Our fall calves are all on the ground.

I'm starting to make sire selections to breed the cows back. I continue to be impressed with EXAR Upshot calves, and plan to use him again.

Palmyra Tested Bull Sale Offering

We have several bull sales coming up that will feature our bulls. These bulls will provide excellent performance and add quality to any cow herd.

The first offering is coming up this Saturday, March 31 at the Northeast Missouri Performance Tested Bull Sale in Palmyra, Missouri. The sale is located at F & T Livestock Market just south of Palmyra on Hwy. 24. The sale begins at 1 p.m.

Missouri Angus Futurity Lot 53 Bred Heifer

I'm excited about this bull that sells as Lot 97 at the Missouri Angus Futurity on February 26 in Columbia. This bull was Reserve Champion at the 2011 Missouri State Fair in August. His numbers are also very impressive and place him in an elite category. Not only is this bull massive, but he blends it perfectly to achieve a ton of thickness and power in a moderate frame. He's docile and sound.
