Missouri Angus Futurity Cow-Calf Pair

Through our partnership with Big River Angus we bring you Lot 50 in the Missouri Angus Futurity Sale this Sunday, February 24 starting at 11 a.m. in Columbia.

Big River Missie 3 sells with a heifer calf at side out of SAV Brillance 8077. This March 2011 cow is a powerful daughter of Panama Jack that descends from the legendary Missie cow family at Weaver Angus. She is feminine, yet powerful.

Futurity Heifer Offering


Our heifer offering this year at the Missouri Angus Futurity is hard to beat. Check them out in the catalog and below.

Lot 28 Meyer Forever Lady 1216 is a daughter of Connealy Consensus 7226 out of a 263C Dam. Check out the video below to take a look. This female will make an amazing cow. You can see her numbers here. They are equally as impressive as her phenotype.

Lot 12 Meyer Make Ya Famous 1240 is a BC Lookout out of a Twister cow. This heifer has loads of volume with a powerful hip while maintaining a feminine look. Her most up-to-date EPDs can be viewed here.

Finally, Lot 16 Meyer Empress 1226. She is a March daughter of BC Eagle Eye and is as attractive as any you will find. She will make a tremendous show heifer prospect. Eagle Eye daughters have proven themselves to make great cows. The Empress cow family that dates back to the founding of our herd are exceptional females in terms of maternal ability and growth. Futurity Bulls

I am offering two bulls at the Missouri Angus Futurity Sale this weekend (February 24 starting at 11 a.m.).

Lot 68 is a January son of EXAR Upshot, a star in the Express Ranch program. His Dam is a 263C. This bull has tremendous length, muscle and balance. He is docile and would make a great herd bull.

His EPDS can be found in the catalog or online at here. He has solid numbers with a great Yearling Weight- in the top 5% of the breed.

You might remember our second bull, Lot 86. As a calf, he was the Senior Bull Calf Champion at the 2012 Missouri State Fair. This bull is a combination of elite performance data with a balanced phenotype. You will find growth and maternal performance in one package with this bull. Check out his numbers here.

He is a son of BC Lookout, out of a Basin Franchise dam. You will not find one more gentle.
