Futurity Bulls

I am offering two bulls at the Missouri Angus Futurity Sale this weekend (February 24 starting at 11 a.m.).

Lot 68 is a January son of EXAR Upshot, a star in the Express Ranch program. His Dam is a 263C. This bull has tremendous length, muscle and balance. He is docile and would make a great herd bull.

His EPDS can be found in the catalog or online at here. He has solid numbers with a great Yearling Weight- in the top 5% of the breed.

You might remember our second bull, Lot 86. As a calf, he was the Senior Bull Calf Champion at the 2012 Missouri State Fair. This bull is a combination of elite performance data with a balanced phenotype. You will find growth and maternal performance in one package with this bull. Check out his numbers here.

He is a son of BC Lookout, out of a Basin Franchise dam. You will not find one more gentle.

Angus Steers For Sale

I have two really nice steers for sale by private treaty. Please contact me to see them at the farm or for more details. They are halter broke and would make a great project for a junior looking for a registered steer.

Silage

We chopped a lot corn this summer and we are already feeding it. Our county was hit hard by the drought. We always chop silage, but that was about all our corn was good for this year.

Fall Calves

Our fall calves are all on the ground.

I'm starting to make sire selections to breed the cows back. I continue to be impressed with EXAR Upshot calves, and plan to use him again.

Here are a few pictures of the fall calves.
